I agree with the other commenters. This is scary. By the end of the second clip, I was in tears of frustration and fear. The hatred of some of these people is frightening.
We've joked that we are heading up to Canada if McCain and Palin are elected, but it's an uneasy joking because there's real desire behind it.

I didn't open the videos because the top one looks like the one that was taken in Pennsylvania and I'm still sick from when I watched it yesterday (we're not ALL like that here). What truly scares me is that these people are mothers, fathers, grandparents, etc. and they can actually influence children. When did being stupid become the new black? Grr!

I didn't open them either. There was enough CNN coverage of some of those scary white people. (The woman who called Obama an Arab at the McCain rally got far too much airtime.)
It's disgusting and disheartening that there are still people who think that way. And Palin's comments that Obama "palled around with terrorists" only fuels that hatred.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that it's the ilk of humanity such as these upstanding citizens that's been going around my town and spray-painting the "N word" on Obama signs.
I fear for us as a species sometimes. :(
