UPDATED SUPPLY LIST: A deli owner who fed the town! And now she needs our help.

Talk about Steel Magnolias!  This is the kind of woman every community should be lucky to have.

A generous angel named Sunny, owner of the Robins Deli in Bay St. Louis/Gautier, Mississippi, emptied her own deli and bank account feeding her community and providing every form of aid and shelter possible.

Monica in MA got in touch with Sandra in FLA and they're supporting the generous Sunny in MI.You can help too.   Here's an updated list of the supplies Sunny needs. They're just getting mail service again, so now's the time to ship your supplies right to Robbins Deli.

I am a volunteer at St. Paul Methodist Church in Ocean Springs, MS where we are housing a Red Cross shelter as well as operating a distribution site for local families. We are also feeding hot meals to as many people as we can. Here are the items we currently need. As this list changes daily, please e-mail me for current shortages.

Pillows and pillow cases, sheets (all sizes), blankets,
Laundry detergent (small boxes)
Dish soap, bleach, sponges, mops, brooms,
Rakes, shovels,
Canned food (not commercial size), eggs, milk, butter (individual packets), breakfast cereal (individual serving), sugar (individual packets) creamer, slice cheese, juice boxes and snack foods for children.

I volunteered at the Red Cross shelter in Gautier (the ham radio operator)... just want to send my best to everyone there, in Jackson county, and across the Gulf Coast, and say HANG IN THERE... we have NOT forgotten you!!!!!

Also, I know one of the librarians was looking for a mattress--that might be something to add to the wish list.

Love,
Robin (native New Orleanian)

I have a supply house in Miamisburg, Ohio. We can't really afford to donate anything but, we can supply you with everything from floor mats to restaurant equipment at just above cost. We are a supplier for many manufacturers in janitorial needs, and restaurants for equipment and small ware needs. We'll do our best and we represent over 700 manufactures, so we can get what ever you need.
