From blogger Grace:
A truly spectacular young woman, Eva T. of Burlingame, California, organized a donation drop off point in her town. It was an awesome success! We are pleased to share Eva's report of what she accomplished. To the left you'll see some of the colorful gifts of drawings from thoughtful kids!
Dear Friends,
As I'm writing this letter, two pallets of supplies and donated goods are on its way to First United Methodist church in Starkville, MS., along with our prayers...Children also rendered delightful art works to share with the families!! Thank you... those of you who helped in organizing the donation, especially our freight forwarder, American Overseas!
I'd also like to thank the Chung Tai Zen Center of Sunnyvale for their generous donation, it enabled us to purchase new cleaning supplies, school supplies, baby products, and herbal supplement.
Together, ee have donated more than thousands of items and about 1800
lbs of supplies!
It's so heart-warming to see people coming together, opening their
heartsand wallets at time of need. Our supply donation drive will
certainly assist the church in reaching out to families in need.
Together, we've made a difference. I thank you from the bottom of my heart !
Eva
